Manufacturing Process and Material Options

 

Our Trough Idler Rollers are constructed using a three or five-roller combination to ensure uniform force distribution on the belt, with lengths customizable to belt width. The manufacturing process begins with precision-machined, cold-rolled seamless steel tubes, with dynamic balancing controlled to within 0.5g. Bearing housings are welded using CO2 gas shielded welding and stress-relieved through heat treatment. Internally, a labyrinth seal structure prevents dust and moisture from entering, protecting the lithium-grease-lubricated bearings. Standard models are galvanized (silver-white), while black rubber-lagged versions are available for high-impact applications, and blue/green PP/PE rollers are offered for food-grade use.
